NSDAP tunic???

Greetings: I acquired this tunic about 8 years ago and since uniforms are not my main field of collection would greatly appreciate any and all information needed to identify this tunic .I believe it to be an NSDAP, but that is only from book comparison. I know the experts can determine it's history. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge

Contact The Forum Moderator. The Tab You Showed Is The Rank Tab. Please Post A Close Up Of The Other Tab With The Numbers And I Will Try To Assist You In Identifying Where Your Sturmfuhrer Was Based.

Greetings Bob: Thank you for your effort. The other tab is just plain. Here is a photo of it. I'm not sure it will be of any help, but I really appreciate the info proveded so far.

The Blank Tab Would Indicate An Officer Who Was Unassigned. The Base Yellow Collar Tabs Were Worn By Gruppe Franken And Schlesien. The Silver Buttons Would Indicate That The Owneer Was Attached To Gruppe Schlesien. The Insignia Is The 1939 Pattern Worn During The War. However, At One Point, The Wear Of Gold Or Silver Buttons To Designate Gruppe Was Discontinued For All Silver. If This Was Vet Aquired From A U S Vet, More Likely It Is A Later Tunic From Gruppe Franken As Schlesien Areas Were In Eastern Germany And Fell Under The Control Of The Soviet Forces.
