    cuff title help

Hello all. I have a cuff title but I can find little information on it using the internet so I thought I would give a forum a go. It is a simple black cuff title with “Rehin” and crossed bayonets on either side of the letters. It also has hash marks down the top and bottom. The lettering, hash marks and crossed bayonets are in silver thread. Was this given for the defense of the Rehin? Or was it for the battle of the Rehin? Or something totally different. Any help here would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

What you have is a WW1 Veterans organisation cuff title. The name is for the region of the group

    Cheers, Ade.

      Cuff titles

Were they issued by the military and worn like other cuff titles or were they like a retired vet organization?

The cuff titles are for the veteran's organization, Reichskreigerbund. They are not issue of any type. They were worn on the vet's assaciation jackets and were privately purchased. I have seen them from $25 to $100, depending who is selling.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Thanks for the information, I also have a Reichskreigerbund armband, I didn’t know that they went together. Any more infromation on the Reichskreigerbund would be useful, I am the artifacts manager for a small memorial and I am working on descriptions for a couple items we are going to display.
          Thanks
