unknown insignia

Anyone know what these are? i have always thought them to be german WW2 period, my grandfathers uncles served in N Africa, brought back a few things and eventually given to me, these were included, whether they were picked up there or later i dont know. But no one so far ive asked has any idea on them. ive seen another patch in a militaria store but the dealer didnt know what it was either

I have absolutely no ideas what they are , but the shape of the wings kind of reminds me of a British /Canadian wings ? maybe ? or it could be Italian (if from NA) . I am sure someone will know , and I can not wait to find out what they are very interesting patches !!!

maybe.. as i said i always presumed they were of german origin, i did get a button , pips & ribbon from Britian in the same package so maybe there are of a different nationality. it would suggest so that no one on a predoninately wehrmacht awards forum has seen this before.

hopefully someone will have a clue! fingers crossed
