This is interesting, I imagine we will be seeing field tunics in this stuff soon.

It looks like they printed directly over an original zelt, I suppose you could do it with a marker too. Not even close but enough to fool the unknowing, he has one hit for $500.00.

Another item from Czech Republic, there must be a healthy little cottage industry going over there with fakes and aging techniques.

Underneath the 'Leiber' print is a Zeltbahn in the probably late war splitter-pattern which was later in used by the French. It seems to have differences in construction when I compare to other examples.

the "french" pattern is ok
probably an original zelt on which they tried their overprint

the oher zelt he is selling is original
