This was picked up at the recent La Gleize show. Condition is a bit rough but everything is originally sewn and the numbered boards are quite nice.

Looks like a great uniform to me. It does not look rough at all!

Paul, our enemy the moth unfortunately got to it a bit but the shoulder flaps are almost untouched which is positive. I wish it was in better condition but was still happy to get an originally sewn Waffenrock. Supposedly the Pz beret was also with it but was sold seperately before I could get to it!

Still a nice example even with the mothing. Panzerwaffenrocks seem to be the most desirable now. At least you will always know it is an original.

I miss the European shows. You guys always have nice and new items on sale. Frankfurt in the 1980's was amazing, I can't imagine what some of the larger French, Hungarian, or Italian shows would have. Once this Iraq deal is over (if it ever is) hopefully the Dollar will recover and it will be worth it to go over there again.

Pz Rgt 1/Pz Abt 66 Waffenrock

Lewis, here is a Waffenrock which has the name tag for 6th company Pz Rgt 1 and shoulder flaps "Pz Abt 66" due to the fact that Pz Abt. 66 was formed from the 6th company of Pz Rgt. 1. I picked this up a while ago.
