Does anyone know what this guy has on his shoulder boards. Doesnt look like a number, and i dont think its admin. Seems to be entwinned shapes of some sort, any ideas?



Could this be Artillery Observation Training Unit?

I think that is a early style unit number, the first looks like a "4", maybe "41". If there is a photograpers name and address on the back you might be able to match the town to the Regiment. The 41st was based in Amberg.
