    Luftwaffe blue tropical tunic

I just received this tunic and would like opinions on it. What do you think? Period example?

I like this tunic and IMO, it's a rarity
this smooth material was used for the tan classical luft trop tunic,
first time I see it used for a late war luft tunic (normally made in green HBT) , and first time I see it in blue!!

the variety of material, shape, colors used to make the luft tunic seems very important...

Materials : smooth cotton, smooth cotton (peach skin),ribbed cotton,grunmeliert,corduroy,HBT...

                    colors : green,blue,tan

I would like to add this tunic is not "tropical" , normally this pattern is made with HBT, and I call this type "last pattern" of luft combat tunic
the shape is very close to an HBT M43 heer tunic (with a difference concerning the breast pocket+the lining)

The marks stamped are wrong. The sizes and the RBNr. I have doubts about the originality.

I agree the Rbnr is a little bit strange
but what about the size marking ?
This style of marking is pretty similar to the one used in the late war heer tunic made with Italian tropical cloth "olona"(purple ink)
I think now this tunic is maybe made with roll of this material tinted in blue??? that seems more logical for a late war tunic.

About the size marking, I like the size printed with 2 differents stamps
and IMO, this tunic is original

I like the construction, material, and the two type of lining, overall the blue satin, very difficult to imitate or to obtain
About the eagle,I have not the knowledge to judge it....

Based on these pics I would not want this tunic in my collection

I have never seen a genuine Luftwaffe tunic made from that type of material. I am not impressed with the markings either. Sorry.
