It actually looks red in the photo. I might suggest a photo in the sunlight.
Carmine is a darker hue that Rosa pink, so I would go with Carmine. Carmine was a waffenfarbe used for both General Staff and Veterinary Officers.
The General Staff Officers had a special Litzen design, that was different from the standard more known design. For that reason, I feel that the tab pictured is a Veterinary Officer. Still, a rare waffenfarbe!

Is it possible that some panzer officers had used these tabs for their uniforms, inspite the more carmine color?
I have found the tabs with a panzer uniform (jacket without any insignias, trousers with pink stripes and pink major shoulder straps).Comment

These look like closest to panzer to me. General staff would have different borders on the tab edges and these are closer to panzer not vet. Look at the Vet uniforms thread that is up now.Comment
