Unusual "Afrika" cuff title

Hi Guys, recently on the forum an "Afrika" cuff title was shown on the forum with unusual piping to the edges instead of the conventional braiding. I now cannot find the thread.

However, last week I had the chance to examine a title with this type of edging. This one was brought back to the UK in 1945 together with a Kreta title. Both titles had been worn on the tunic in shortened fashion, so they did not extend fully around the cuff, but only worn at the front.

thanks Adrian, indeed that is interesting. I have never seen one like that myself. There are a few odd varieties of these cuffs out there, that is for sure.

I have exact the same Afrika CT. Perhaps you are talking about mine. I tried to sell it, but no one likes it.
So we started a discussion at the insigia-forum and the award-forum.
The Afrika CT come along with a Afrikakoprsarmband fom the same owner.
