Here's a display I put together recently. Because of the way the mannequin stand is set up, I could not get the boot on his right foot, so it is strategically hidden behind the water cans. I would like to use the pith helmet, but the plastic hair-do makes the head too big for the helmet. I may have to do some cranial surgery before it's all over...

Haha! Yes, you are right. Since this was my first full-sized mannequin, I bought a cheap one, so I could experiment. Now I wish I had a better one! Perhaps later.

I have zero experience with Afrika Korps uniforms, but that is one sharp display. Are the shorts difficult to find? Are they LW marked?

Dont cut the head... the set looks very sharp with the overseas hat! Maybe he could somehow hold the helmet in his hand?

Thanks, Paul. I don't think that the shorts are any harder to get than any other tropical items, and may even be easier than finding the shirts. The shorts are marked inside. I'll post a photo here, along with some pics of the boots, since they really don't show up much in the display.
