Structurally they seem to be a matching set - same material, same silk/rayon underlay on the reverse tongue, same stitching around the button holes, same details to the "GD" cyphers. They came with some other GD stuff as part of this grouping, which I can post (I just don't want to wear out my welcome asking for free advice).

I would concur with the member above. Craig, they look original, but I do not know about the "GD" stitching, as I am not as knowledgable in that area. Perhaps another member has some input, that has originals in their collection. I would agree with the fact that there are those out there that have been opened up and the lettering put on, than the board closed back up again. I have seen this, so be careful.

GD Schulterklappen
I don't see anything wrong with the straps. As to the monogram, the heavy stitching is nice. One thing that concerns me is the contrast in color of the piping and the monogram.
The piping has a certain dullness or off white color that comes with age. I believe this would be correct even on a mint items that is 60+ years old. The monogram seems to be an intense white color like it is "fresher". This could be an effect of the photography though. It would take a hands on inspection to come to a more definite conclusion.
One thing that I have been told to look on GD embroidery is a flat color to the thread, no gloss.
Scott Pritchett should be able to help with your straps.
