It is super example, authentic and named Generalmajor tunic.
Next owner will be proud to have a so nice example in his collection.

The tunic looks great but as usual I am a bit skeptical of the nametag. The tunic shows nice even ware throughout yet the tag remains pristine, white and unwrinkled. Not even as much as a frayed or bent edge from reaching ones hands in the pocket. Then you have a tunic tailored in late 1944 with materials and a style more associated with earlier tunics. A five button front and bullion insignia in late 1944? I am sure it is possible.

Now on the good side, which makes sense is the fact the tunic was tailored in Heide Germany. Heyser was stationed in Hamburg command in 1944 which is right next to Heide. No faker would ever know this.

At that price I would want a little more provenance but that is just me, I am skeptical of everything.

I have emailed Bill to see if there is any additional provenance with the tunic. Haven't heard anything back yet.
