My Modest Armband Collection

Started an armband/cloth collection a few months back. I have concentrated on Wehrmacht items, but also have a NSDAP armband and Judenstern in the collection.

Are there any Wehrmacht specific armbands that I'm missing?

But you have a long way to go, because there are allot of arm bands out there, all kinds. so your going to have to buy some books and see for yourself or do some searching. also the white armband looks to be a post war one to me, you will have to get a black light and see if it glows, then you can check the other ones too. On the Jude camp star, it too looks to be a fake too. If you don't know where it came from and so on it sure looks questionable to me, and thats not even a close shot of it yet. These are made all the time now and are being sold as real, on e-bay you can find fakes that look good all the time! so be careful!!

Thanks for the welcome greg. I put the white armband under a black light and it was fine. The Judenstern was supposedly a vet bring back so hopefully it is also legit. What red flags did you notice with the Judenstern? Thanks again for the feedback.

yes, welcome to the forum. I do not want to discourage you either but you really have to watch yourself with these items as said. do an "advanced search" here in the forum and youll see lots of info/pics of good and bad ones. from the shots you show its too hard to say but hopefully you got good ones. like Greg said, many arm bands to collect, so Im sure youll have a busy collecting life if you choose this route.
