Hi Stijn, both POA's look fine. The printed Aserbaidschan looks fine too. I am not familiar with the Bergkaussascan in this form so I cannot offer on opinion on that one. The France shield is bad.
I agree with ade, both poa's are fine, as is the aserb.
I also have never seen a berg like that one either. Maybe someone else has and can offer an opionion on it. France is a nown repro.

Would be interesting to know why your friend consideres the red Azerbaidjan shields as fakes.
Hello,
I don't have any "give away" concerning the Aserbaidschan printed on red backing, the only thing he said concerning those was :
"too many of them came out at the same time, all in mint, brand new condition, and none of my contacts (fellow Osttruppen collectors) all over Europe knew anything about this huge lot ".
Nothing more, nothing less.
I personaly know very little on this subject as Osttruppen, Ostbataillonen etc...are not really in my field of collecting. Only own a woven ROA shield and an Eastern people medal dug out in the baltic area...
ciao!
Nothing wrong with such shields appearing in large quantities. I've seen ROLLS of printed shields that some people used for curtains. Considering that such printed Azerbajdzhan goes for 12$, I don't see a reason to fake one
