M40 Janke Tunic?

Here is a m40 tunic that I believe is a janke copy and am more or less 100% SURE, but would like other's to confirm this. The lining is typical of a janke tunic also the size stamps, has original steel buttons the buttons on the cuffs I believe are copies also the collar tabs are pink piped (Armoured trains motorcycle units ect) probably copies and the shoulder straps are panzer grenadier green? the tunic had some bits of gravel in the lining and appears to of been aged, bought this on e bay- ware!!! asked all the right questions and had more photo's but not the size stamps that i think would of given this tunic away.

hello rob the tunic i can,t say much about it i know that the key is the liner what that was i don,t remember any more specific
but you can look it up in the tread that gary wood posted awhile
ago

the litzen are (IMO) good ones

the shoulderstraps are (IMO) bad ones

and the eagle that,s for sure a new made
see how it shines because of the new -made linnen they used

and, Rob,...the straight sleeve-stitchings are a dead giveaway ( see picture).

the size stamp numbers are typical Janke....including the '7' with crossbar......and as Jan said....the square stitch panel of the armelschlitz or sleeve vent is a also a dead givaway with a suspected Janke. The yellowish drill lining material is also typical Janke. can you send it back?

Not so i bought two original tunics one last year at a arms fair in Normandy for £200 and one for £225, but at least i could check them over first and i now realize there are a lot of robbers on e bay and a picture can hide a lot. no more will i buy from e bay clothing items!
