    Tan Tunic in HBT Pattern

Some other collectors and I were discussing this style tunic. It would be interesting to hear how many people have these or have seen them out there and if they had standard green insignia on them or the tropical tabs/eagle. I have heard both are encountered. The tunic pictured is unissued and only shows evidence of the standard insignia being period applied. This is also the tunic type pictured in the "Afriakorps" by Scipion and Bastien on 124-125. Does anyone know if the cloth was foreign and does anyone have any period photos of this type of uniform being worn? All information would be appreciated, I will mention that the two I have seen are both dated 1944.
