I'm wondering what this tunic was used for. It is definitely WW2 German era, but I need the help of my fellow collectors to determine what branch of service or goverment it was for.
It is made of a denim sort of material. Looks to have had collar tabs at some point as well as shoulder boards. The collar tabs look to have been longer and narrow. Odd how the shoulder board buttons don't match the color/finish of the other buttons. It has support straps inside, but no holes in the tunic for belt hooks.
I apologize for the crappy pics. I must have something set in the save preferences that is not allowing me to save my jpg files at a larger dimensional size and still meet the required file size limit. Oh well.
The fellow who owned this before me claimed that it was a LW Flak helper's jacket. I've never heard of that.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Cincylance
