I think it is a copy the stitches look a bit loose on the bottom of the wings on the back and they dont normaly have stitch lines above the wings on the front will post photos of examples later

Greetings All,

I believe this to be a reproduction also. The front pattern is very, very good but I think the back is the key for seeing that it is fake.

To me there are 3 parts to this eagle. The base material upon which it is woven . The background, which is slightly raised and has the basic shape of the eagle and the eagle proper. If you look at the rear of the eagle,threads extend past the background and on to the base material. This makes it hard to fold because the background is generally the fold line. I Think that this is the key to show that it is a fake. The front also is woven,as it looks, loosely.
Remember that this is just my opinion. I think a good one though!
