The gotic S stands for panzer-school, or not?

I am not a uniform expert, but; I like what the pictures show. The "S" and Waffenfarbe would indicate Panzer Schule. The aguilette cords fit in well with this rank. Do you have anything else from the officer or know his name?

What an absolutely stunning tunic. There is absolutely nothing wrong that I can see. The S is for panzer school. If it has a regimental number with it, it would be for a Rifle Regiment.

Yes, it belongs to a leutnant Lahner from Wien. But i know nothing else about him. At the moment i try to reasearch more about him.
