    GD Insignia

Here's a little GD Insignia I recently acquired (part of a grouping to an eventual Leutnant). Thought my fellow members might be interested in seeing it.

    Best,
    Toby.

              Bravo!
Is it NCO shoulder boards with a tress? If so, why are they so narrow?

Thank you for the Bravos. Please just don't say "Encore!"

I finally found time to photograph the complete grouping. See my attempts at an artistic layout below.

Re. bnz's question, I don't know the answer myself. Perhaps Scott can help?

                All the best,
                Toby.

I always feel that some history is lost when groups are split-up. To me the sum has more value than its parts. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=595096

Well I tried to sell as a complete grouping prior to splitting but without luck.

                          However, needs must ...

Of course, easy to take the ethical stance when it isn't your money tied up.

Yes, money and ethics seldom mix.

BTW: This was not meant as a criticism on you - I was talking about loss of history

Lucky You! I love the worn look of some of it!
