This comemorative badge has 'Husar Rgt. 17' written on the bones.

Sometimes, this type of skull is stuck on a cap.........completely wrong.

If anyone has a cap skull with writing on the bones, it has once been a commemorative badge like this one!

To all collectors : Attention, Robin is right! This skull is only a part of a badge.

One of the big German dealers sold this skull without the rest of the badge too (one or two years ago). When I saw this skull my first thought was a nice veteran visor cap skull !

                Brunswick History

The origin of the Brunswick skull was in the war against Napoleon. The Brunswick skull on the cap of the duke of Brunswick in 1809 !

Uniform of the "Schwarze Schar" 1809 .

These items (made in 1909) were presented in the Völkerschlachtmuseum in Leipzig.
