I have seen a general medic tunic + cap on ebay. What do you think?

I would stay far away. The buy it now prices should be the first flag. The visor is a re-lined fake. I can see the old stitch holes in the lining. It has a cut down sweatband and a bell shape to the visor that is not a good sign. Not to mention some marks on the lining that I don’t like. The tunic looks like a period tunic but my guess it completely put together.

I am not crazy about the insignia on the tunic - if you use the "bigger picture" function, it appears that the boards and tabs do not atch each other very well at all in terms of both wear and design. I am not saying they are not original, but I would expect a better match on a general's tunic.

I agree on the visor that it is pretty well dodgy all around.

I will say this; the tunic might be worth the sum of its parts. The tunic itself is original. The insignia is hard to tell from the pics but could be ok but $2,500?????? Someone has more money than brains. I hope that POS visor is not doing as well.

Collar insignia

The collar insignia looks OK to me. I have not seen any repos that look that good. I am not sure about the boards. Here is a picture of the tunic to ease the confab a little.

I would have liked to have seen a better picture of the lable and dagger hanger. Also a closer look-see on the underside of the collar.
