My new jacket, opinions please.

Hello Alex,
I am concerned about the originality of this tunic. The green color of the collar is somewhat lighter than I would expect, and it lacks the type of material on the back that I usually see. The collar tabs are also suspect, as they are not the well formed pillars that you usually see.
The lining looks okay. The shoulderstraps are certainly okay.
For me personally, I don't like to keep anything that leaves a doubt in my mind.

Jacket looks fine to me (added collar or faced in badge cloth?). Eagle is bad and I doubt the tabs are original to it.

Shoulder straps are original.


I think this was tailored for an officer looking at the narrow shoulder strap attachment loops and the officers insignia post war removed and restored to what it is now.

Looks like 2 holes for belt supports, or am I seeing things.
Most 2 holed tunics were for the SS, so converted to Heer?

Skirt was shortened and the pockets raised to cover 1 of the 3 belt hook holes.
