Medical Wafferock...Der Spiess

Hi Guys, just want to share my new addition. Medical Wafferock "Der Spiess"
This has the double row tress for Der Spiess, shoulder boards have the number 40, any info on this medical unit? Nice bullion breast eagle, inside shows slight stamp Gepruft, kind of faded away from wear.
Combat tunics are more desirable, but how often you see medical anything.
I've owned a few, but no longer with me.
Also parade trousers came with it, blue striped.
Sorry for bad pics...again, but the sun is not out yet. Other photos if needed.

Believe I saw one other here, but cannot recall where.
You are into Medical items, how would I find out about the 40th Medical units?
I tried Google as a long shot, no luck.

Yes Paul, it is a shame, but you can see where it was at one time.
Fading just above the tress. Maybe it was intentionally removed when he became rank, job of Der Spiess. Others may know the answer.
