    Hi,
    thanks Des for the posting.
    Does anyone know anything about the edelweiss on the right.
    I think its a Austrian version.
    The cloth on the back is the early dark green,like the collars on the Army jackets.

      Hi Jos,

      The green badge cloth backing is attributed to the Austrian Mountain Regiments. I also have one with this backing. I don't believe it was official issue merely produced at unit level.
