A well used tan water pattern parka.

Hi Guys, I thought that I would post up a few pics of my parka. It is well used and certainly has that "been there" look
    Cheers, Ade.

An interesting detail of the manufacture. The pockets are lined with off cuts of the now replaced green splinter pattern material. This just goes to show how thrifty the makers were? I think this is a great feature.
      Cheers, Ade.

A well used Tan and Water parka

        Hi Ade.
I think I am coming around to your way of thinking about "used and been there"

I have a Tan and water parka, non reversable that has deffinatly been there, it is well used, esp around the shoulders, you can imagine the guy in the trench, with the rain or snow falling on his shoulders.
Both my non reversable parkas have no markings T&W & Splinter.
It cost £120 on speedbid a few weeks ago, it is now on display, and is my next fav piece.
I will bring it to show you when I come.
        It's so cool.
        Lee.

PS Ade, I have just bought a WELL worn Lufti buckle from Aus.

        Stay lucky.

          Nice!

          Hi again Ade,
another nice item. I too prefer combat uniforms to look as if they have seen some service, it just adds more...character to an item i feel.
I have in my collection a matching set of trousers for one of these (as seen in the "Collections" forum), which have been lengthened by the original owner with the addition of extra Splinter and Tan and water material of the type the sniper smocks are made from. One pattern on the bottom of the right leg, and another on the left.
          Waste not, want not indeed

          All the best,

          Patrick.
