Jacket looks original,replaced insignia in my opinion.
Looks to have been an officer upgrade by the looks of the pointed collar.

I am led to believe the collars has been replaced at some stage.Can i ask is it normal for the cuffs to be stitched or would buttons not have been on here.Comment

Yes the collar is replaced,cuffs could have been stitched closed or had french cuffs added at one time and they were removed.

Hello Gentlemen,
IMO this is a M40 Feldbluse with replaced collar, shortened cuffs and postwar applied insignia. Early collat tabs looks strange when not sewed on dark green backing.

I think that with the inetrnal and alterations athe tunic may had been intende to be used as a walking out tunic and not for combat.

Ditto on all the comments. Overall the tunic looks like it is in pretty good shape. Was a officer upgrade for sure. For it being a 1941 make, it still has only 5 buttons? Cool.
