Waffen SS eagles
I would like to know your opinion about this item. It,s on Manion,s Auction and described as "Waffen SS breast eagle AFRIKA". I never saw in any reference book or article neither an embroidered SS eagle like this, nor a Waffen SS BREAST eagle nor a double circle wreath on embroidered SS eagles. Only on Manion,s again another eagle with the same pattern but embroidered on field gray wool some auctions ago. Is it a rare pattern or a joke?

I would like also to know your opinion about the authenticity of the printed SS eagle depicted on Angolia,s "Cloth insignia of the SS" 2nd edition page 446. It,s again on the summer 1990 number of the Military Advisor. Did anyone see any photo of this eagle being actually worn?. I could send a pic on another post as I,m still researching how to bring two photos on the same post.
