bevo eagles

Heres some examples of bevo eagles I have in my collection. An army one, a Kriegsmarine one and a Waffen SS one. As far as I know? the Luftwaffe never had a bevo eagle. Does anyone know why this was. Seems strange to me that all other arms of service would have them except for the Luftwaffe?

Hi Des,
don't have an answer about the Bevo Luft eagles but I have a scans of 3 tropical Kriegmarine eagles sent home to my Mom from a cousin after the Cherboug campaign, one of them a nice Bevo pattern. If someone is interested in posting them I can send copies as I can't post pics from my tripod site.

The Luftwaffe did have bevo eagles. Although I don't own any, these could be found as breast eagles on Fliegerbluse tunics and were also used on the tropical hat known as the "Hermann Meyer" cap.

Oh yes, forgot to add that Luftwaffe as well as other service's sport shirt eagles were bevo as well.
