Could you please take a look at this tunic that I am considering purchasing. I cannot find it in my books anywhere. It lacks the belt hooks and the sleeve cuffs have no button flap. It is size marked and dated "44II". Any help or opinions are welcome. Thank you, Martin

I remember this comment from my post of 3 types of HBT. I am not sure I understand "inside weave Vs. outside weave". Could you post a picture showing this in detail? It would help me understand, I am as sharp as a bowling ball. Thanks, Frank

Apparently a late jacket,strange thing are the ugly and sewn-in shoulderstraps...,late war..sewn-in...,hmmm.
I'm familiar with the inside "lining" which looks like the soft fabric used for Tropical Heer stuff sometimes...eagle looks good..can't think of any fake with such hooked beak.
Might be a typical 44 jacket with sewn in ugly straps, but maybe like it was..?

I've seen this tunic appear several times over the years, long before it showed up on the Grenadier website. Each time it appeared it has gained in price. I don't much care for it myself due the sewn shoulder straps. I would rather for the price, buy a tunic that has the factory shoulder board loops applied. Just my thoughts.
