    Turkistan Legion Oberleutnant.

    Greetings all.
    This Turkistan legion officer's tunic had been in the collections of two respected members our forum and was discussed several times.

    Now It sits in my collection and I wanted to post better pictures for public view.

              Congratulations

              It look like one of a kind tunic. I just can't believe that Glenn let this beauty slip away. It is very rare tunic.

                What are the holes in the EK ribbon? Was this officer an Honor Role awardee?

                  Thanks for your kind comments regarding this tunic, it is now the centerpiece of my WH uniform collection

                  It seems that he was also a recipient of Ehrenblattspange or Roll of honor clasp(note the holes on the EKII ribbon), so there is a chance to track down the original owner.

                    Nice looking jacket... I sold off (I traded this one to Bruce) a half dozen or so officers tunics in the last year. Want to concentrate more on the "other ranks" stuff.

                      Great tunic! I have only seen one other and I believe Bruce Herman had it not long ago. In fact I was about to pull the trigger on it a couple of times and every time I was about to buy it something else I was looking for popped up. I regret not grabbing it. There surely can’t be too many out there.
