    Should I... a $995 R.R. Eagle!!!

Hey all, I have an oppertunity to buy a sweet 24" Rail Road Eagle for the price of $995. Theres only one problem, it has a hole on its wing where it was removed from the wall. I posted pics.

Basically what i want to know is this: Is it worth it? I know its a low price bit is it a good deal given the damage?

    And can it be repaired????

    Thanks

"Is it worth it?" is a question only you can answer.

It is what it is. I would like one, but not for 1700, 995 for one with
character , I would consider it. I would not repair it though. If you want to do something, you can spray paint a piece of masking tape and cover the hole, that is what I would do, if you decide to pass on it, PM me,
          Thanks

I think I am going to give it a go... but if things fall through I will PM you.

Anybody else have an opinion on the matter?

Character is always good, however , it can be repaired with aluminum welding.. it's a bit costly and will require some hand finishing to shape afterwards, but it will look nice...

I used to weld aluminum gas tanks for my race bikes, so yes, anything can be done, and they were more thin walled than the eagle..

It can be repaired for sure, however, I would leave it alone. It was damaged taking it off something. There is nothing wrong with that. A very good price as well. best wishes,

And what about that price, does that sound normal for a damaged eagle?
