    Jeger Officer Tunic

Hi guys I want to share you one of my first pieces of my collection.I got it in 1968 near Trasimeno Lake (in Italy,Gotica Line)from a country man I changed it for 2 or 3 cigarettes packs. In this tunic there is one stange thing, the color of the collar patch does not match with shoulder board, the collar are darker like the PZGrenad. What do you think?
    Cheers
    Carlo

I have seen untouched officers tunics with different branch of service colors on the boards and tabs. Most probably that is all that was available to the tailor at the time of manufacture.

The collar tabs on this one collectors would call Jaeger, the shoulder boards Panzer grenadier.

                  Nice looking tunic,

Well the difference in color bothers me a bit Carlo, I think you should sell it to me. You sure have been posting some great stuff lately.

                        Ciao Carlo,

Nice looking tunic, but I can't find any record of a J******228;ger Regiment 72.

                              Gr******252;******223; Di' Carlo,

Perhaps it's from the J******228;ger Rgt. 721 of the 114. J******228;ger Division that was in Italy.

                              J******228;ger vor!
