    Bevo flat silver wire is my vote, more practical for a field tunic, although both styles were worn in the field! I guess owner's preference. I would go with the pictured breast eagle! Gebirgsjager artillerie leutnant! Cool! Nick

      Hi Pat,

      I second Nick on that : if I were you, I would go with a silver wire bevo insigna, just the same as on this GJR.137 tunic you already know. IMO, this one - made from a very common white Drillich Anzug - has some points in common with yours ; moreover, a thick bullion insigna would not fit quite well such a light garment to my taste.

        A clozup on the insigna ; of course, you'll make your new sewing match the original one that was on your tunic, here it's sewn in a different way (straight) :
