sew-in straps converted?

Have you guys seen many examples of sew-in straps converted to removeable ones? Seems like it would be a natural thing to happen in the last years of the war (when materials were scarce and parades few?)

Hi Paul,
I have seen a few examples now and again, these tend to look
either like proper conversions, or collectors adding a thin strip to mount
them on a tunic display. I suppose if a tunic became too small or was
going to be scrapped, it would make sense to salvage straps and eagles.

The only picture I can bring to mind, is this one, you can see how it tugs
upwards at the centre, like a thin officers understrap.
