What do you mean by the blue material ? the satin lining ?if ,this is the case ,I don't see any problems ,however ,there are some Latvian repro ,infamous for their blue lined material ( I really hope that it is not what you have) some threads are out there on the subject.

I have a pair of 1945 dated trousers with a blue cotton waistband. Would pictures of that be helpful?

The tunic was an ebay item that came and went quickly. All pictures provided were very fuzzy and his answers to questions were evasive. I drew my own conclusions. Thanks to all!Comment

By "type", yes it was this M44 pattern but Heer rather than SS.Comment
