HBT M43 uniform ; good or bad ?

Hello everybody,
I am a new member on this web site. I have heard about it in the best way possible, its reputation and the quality of the answers to different questions. It’a a great honour for me to take part of your group.
First, I want to show you a HBT uniform 43. Here you got some photos of the tunic, which has no marks. And some photos of the trousers. It has some marks but hardly visible as they have been erased. I can read the receiving mark E 44, but the rest is as I sad, hardly visible. What do you think about these items ? Thanks a lot for your answers.

Pants are not

Welcome to the forum .I am also a new menber.
I am sorry ,but I do have bad news.
I can not comment on the tunic yet ,because pictures are not clear enought ,to be honest ,I don't like it ,I have a problem with the material weaving inside.
The pants are 100% French made repro ,there is a thread somewhere about them. Do a search on HBT pants ,you will see a true 100% original pair and the repros.
If yoiu just got them ,return them.

HI there,

The tunic is IMHO a reproduction. The hook at the collar is wrong also the fact that a mint tunic would have rust on the hook and eye and worn paint on the buttons makes me wonder. The pants are the french repros.

Well, the tunic looks OK to me but hard to tell 100% since the photos are so awful. Can you try again? Use a tripod or do a couple of shots first.

You really need to resize these pics..I know your trying to show detail.but the size makes it almost impossible to follow this thread. the pants are 100 percent repro..they have been around sincethe mid 90's in this configuration at the max..Sos..and other shows. Several dealers continue to sell them..along with the jacket..which is also a repro. The french have unfortunaltly gotten all the hbt...army..Luft..in reed green and blue.down to a science..along with the Luft tan and blue cotton tropicals. The reedgreen repro hbt can also be found in panzer wrapper's..both with and without chest pocket.and the pants as well. Sorry for the bad news....I got burned on these pants as well. I saw the repro pants sold as original return right back into circulation through ebay and onto a german dealers site when they were returned to the original dealer who sold them...Sad.
