    Shoulderstraps with STALINGRAD Cross

    Hello,
I bought this items some years ago. The crosses are made from irion > magnetig. The sprongs are also magnetic. Some opinions?

There is a long thread about the crosses here:

    Perhaps that might help some.

I believe its a nice textbook original. I compared it to the one I have. This one was blessed by the forum as original. There appears to be small differences around the head, maybe its the photography or manufacture variation. WR Jim

I looked at head more closely and compared it to mine on the left and one from the Suters on the right. Yours is in the middle. The head seems larger on your example. Yours looks good to me. Unfortunately there are lots of copies out there. The two posted in the comparison are generally accepted as textbook originals. I believe that variations existed. Trying to sort out original variations from copies is beyond my expertise. I think the shoulder board experts will need to weigh in.WR Jim

Thank you for all this inforamtions. I believe now, that my ones are rare originals! It seem to exist some more variations. In the next days I will post some fotos of my Feldherrnhalle shoulder straps!
