How to hang a badge on a tunic

I have an HBT tunic and I would like to hang a badge on it but there are no loops. Is there any way without damaging the tunic? Can I tack on a temporary loop that I can remove? Any other ideas

Hi Dennis, how about placing a pin through the tunic horizontally, so that this would form a bar in which you could then hang the badge from?

Not a bad idea. The pin would be smaller than the pin on the badge so wouldn't make a large hole. Thanks for your input.
