jacket opinion please.

Hello Gentlemen,
Please could you give your opinion on this jacket. The seller told me that it was a forestry guard one, but I am not sure . It looks like more DDR or west German jacket.

I will openly admit that I know very little about forestry tunics, so I cannot give you a definitive answer. However, any time I see multiple rubber stampings of eagle and swastikas it always raises my doubts. It seems some of the worst fakers are over-zealous with these kind of markings as if to reassure buyers that the piece is authentic...for me it has the opposite effect.

I believe your own doubts are well founded.

Hello, Xavier - everyting is potentially collectible if it is cheap enough. I don't think these currently hold more value than as surplus items, although I have seen these advertised as anything from SS-SD to Army Artillery "open collar" uniforms over the years.

the subject ss is not the same but my question friends is. are not unusual the label and the marks of eagle of ss in tinuc of forestry guard one?
it is for increasing in price tunic or it is a assembly?

I think the eagle and ss patch are fake and just added by the seller to deceive the buyer .
