From what I see, 100% textbook and in great condition . They are the type that can be seen in 100's of wartime pictures of men working at barracks, airfields, etc. throughout the war. Unfortunately, because they are not "combat" related, there is not a high demand (or price) for these type items as they probably deserve.

You can find the same pants in reed green, some are absolutely like that when getting out of manufacture, some were white dyed, and for these example it is very hard to say when the pants really received the color ...
White, these pants are very well known as LW but green there become a special model, paratrooper or Panzer ... Strange no
?
John you are right to say that this pants is a work/exercice pants, therefore some period photos show it on the Front line . But like Heer, during the war LW units probably dyed these really too clear uniform.
