Leather Coat

Hello,
I know this isn't the stuff you guys are used to (Iown a "flea Market" collection..Haha) but I still have some questions for ya. I had the coat checked by a friend that has had many coats. He told me that it is war era coat and that it has not been redied. The colour of leather seems to say Army..according to him. The thing that is strange is that the pockets are made of German Camo material. I also went along the inside seam of the coat and found further evidence that camo cloth was possible used as liner, before someone cut it out. what are you opinions?

Uboat crews also wore gray leather. But it doesnt look like Kriegsmarine...

My guess is that it's post war, put together with leftover materials... wartime uniform factory making civilian clothes when they had no more contract to make clothing from the vanquished armies of the TR.

That is a neat coat. I would agree that this might be 1946 civilian production. I would like to see a photo of the front of the coat also, and of the buttons on the front (if any).
