    Heer Splinter Camo Jacket

    Gent's,

Here is one that came in today and I have no doubts it is a period manufactured piece. Constructed probably by a field tailor.Plenty of documented period pictures showing these in wear..

Shows honest wear and use,the zippers are both marked RAPID. This was purchased by an advanced camo collector at a show in 1960.

Hope you like it as much as I.

              Jacket

Very nice, looks like a wrapper with that lappel construction and length. Very cool.

                      That's one Cool Camo.
I wouldn't have any doubt about the authenticity. It has a great look.

Glad you closed the deal Glenn. Congrats. I handled this one in person a few years ago. IMO, it is one of the few field made tunics I have seen that is an untouched era original.

Thanks for sharing this unique piece of history!

Does it seem to be made of heavy zeltbahn material?
