    Looks like a DRL sports badge to me, but I have not actually seen one which matches that exactly. Not my collecting field.

      What is it made of? Cotton? How big is it? I have not seen anyting like it with a date 1944?

      I'm a heer guy so any comments would be educational.

        Hi Dennis,

        The is the cloth version of the NSRL Leistungs- und Meisterschaftsabzeichen. I'm curious about the material as well, I believe these are supposed to be in BeVo.

          Look at the edge same as modern us army unit insignia and probably is a US produced copy originals normaly bevo and some in bullion wire
