    That's very interesting Rami, do you have any photos of the insignia in wear? As you know Jäger Btl. 3 became part of the newly formed Gebirgsjäger Rgt. 856 in '45 and 6 i believe was dissolved for the same purpose but i'd have to check.

    BTW, i have a docs grouping to a Leutnant in Jäg.Btl.6 if you're interested in seeing it. It includes a Finnish skiing award.

      Yes, i do have couple of photos Jäger-battallion 3 or 6 men wearing these badges. I can send photos to you.
