Leather coat...Real??

Let me re write that...I know the coat is "Leather" but is it genuine WWII German?

Hi Lubos, interesting item.

The pocket lining in tan water pattern cloth is wartime, BUT it was not unknown for cloth to be re-cycled into clothing in the early post war period. I cannot make out the buttons? Are they the standard dished pebbled buttons? Any provision for shoulder boards?

I think this stands a fair chance of being wartime. These things are hard to tell.
