KM white uniform

I was wondering what this jacket would do on the market, any thoughts on it? Besides that i was wondering about the pins that are used to hold the buttons, is it a correct way? Cause i saw some others and it weren't straight pins like this but more circles.

Hi Tex, I don't think those split pins are correct. I know the ones you mean. (I am not a KM collector) But the split pins you show on the jacket look like they are British ones.

I can't comment on the originality of the jacket itself, but I bought a similar jacket a month ago for around 500 euros.

Yes, it was the one with the name inside. It didn´t have a U-boat badge though.

The split pins appear to match those shown in Angolia's book on the Kriegsmarine that were used to attach a breast eagle to Admiral Puttkamer's white tunic. The pic is on page 221 of Volume I.

This split pins are very typical for the white KM uniforms, the circles ones are more used for the tropical uniforms. The soulders are not of the T model, and this is the first time that I have seen this on a KM white jacket.

About price, the range is so long, but I think that a right price could be arround 500-600 euros.
