    TeNo portrait foto

    Hello:

Here is a not-so-often-seen portrait foto; a Technische Nothilfe man with the rank of Nothelfer. Does anyone know what color the shoulderstraps were? Black with white piping? If so, how do the shoulderstraps differ to SS infantry shoulderstraps? The buttons also seem to have a design on them. Would it have been the TeNo eagle?

Hi Erich, as you say, anything to do with the TENO is quite rare..We do know that they were under ultimate controll of the SS and it shows, when you look at the TENO uniform..Collar tabs and shoulder boards were in, either black or very dark blue, going on the sidecap that I have. Also note the, TENO, arm eagle, in the pics attached, placed in the same position as the SS eagle..These photo's come from the personal photo album of a member of the TENO. I also have his sidecap and cufftitle. Hope this helps..

Here's a group of pic's with the TENO clearing up after a dogfight between the Luftwaffe and the Royal airforce.. It must have been a very busy time as the Luftwaffe pilot has been buried next to his downed aircraft.. Looks to be a 109..

Very nice photos! Have you seen a photo of the badge for former member of the TeNo serving in the Wehrmacht? Once I get home, I can post a scan....

Still in the office, helping the wheels of industry roll on!
