The tunic looks like a striped RAD tunic. It is not a Heer tunic.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

I would agree with Juan. The tunic is good.

Sadly, this foreign volunteers armsheild has no place on this tunic. In addition I believe that it is a reproduction. This type of insignia came in both Bevo and printed form, but neither match the one shown here.

          Cheers, Ade.

Hi Dave, it would be worth restoring the tunic with RAD insignia. This should not cost too much.

              Cheers, Ade.

Hi David, RAD is not something I collect. But if there is evidence of sew in pattern straps, I think that is what you need.

We have several RAD collectors on the forum who I am sure can give you the advice you need. Contact Yancy, as he is a keen RAD man:

Cant say much about the tunic, but I can say that the armsheild is a fake. I had one exactly like that one, printed version sewn on uniform cloath, posted it here on the forum and found out it was a copy.
