Could this be related to the Olympic Line Judge ribbon, or the DRL in some way? -
Hi John,
I forget the correct name, but basically the ribbon is for the Bundeswehr (post-45) equivalent to the DRL sports badge.

That matches what I have been told then. If you had the DRL, you would not wear that on your post 1945 German uniform, but this ribbon.Comment
